angelune – i’ve been meaning to read Banana Yoshimoto (if only for the cool name). My favourite is Haruki Murakami and I have all of his books if you want to read any of his work. I’ve put the Time Traveler’s Wife book in my bag to bring down to the workroom today for you, so it will be there for the next time you drop by.

Have you ever read any Banana Yoshimoto? I picked up a translated novel that I’m reading right now, and I can give it to you when I’m done. It’s pretty neat to read contemporary japanese lit.

heather – my only hope is that the movie captures the passion between the claire and henry AND that it is nothing like that Keanu Reeves movie. (no offence, Keanu)

angelune – i have the book, if you want to borrow it. i can’t bring it to the shop for you to pick up.

melissa – i didn’t take photos, it was just nice to chat with her like a regular girl. she was sweet as can be.

napoleonquilts – this book was a real page turner for me too, i wanted to ‘live inside’ this book while i was reading it.

kim – hi! hi! you and rachel can be best buds now! who else were they thinking of casting for this movie. i can’t imagine anyone better than rachel.

jennifer – she came in about a half hour before you, actually. i was still dazed when you were there, so i forgot to share the news in person.

Ack! Did I miss her by much?! I had the pleasure of helping her with a reference question at the library a few years back. I loved that book too, and was really pleased when I heard she was going to be in the movie.
