I've only ever machine quilted, with mediocre results. I had one quilt professionally machine quilted, which looks great, but unfortunately I can't take the credit for it. Once I'm done pieceing the quilt I'm working on now, I'm going to have to get your advice on the sandwiching process (pinning the front and back with the batting) since I haven't done that in ages.
