365 : jaime’s alphabet stamps
Jaime & Rhya have been inspiring me by showing up to our Stitch n’ Bitch nights and working on their journals. I especially love the sweet stamp sets they use. I got my own set of alphabet & number stamps for Christmas from my brother and Jerisse that I’m excited to start using.

The Love & Rummage 2 Trunk Show on Sunday was pretty incredible. I was overwhelmed by the huge turnout of people. It was so busy that I didn’t even get a moment to say hi to some of you! Thank you for dropping by. You guys are awesome.
We were able to raise $190 from the sales of the workroom’s rummage (all $1 or $2 items!). As promised, I matched the amount raised and donated a total of $400 to the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund today. Since the Canadian Government is matching all donations until February 12th, that $400 will turn into $800!!
Donating could not be any easier. Simply visit the Red Cross Site and donate any amount you wish by paypal or credit card.
These are the vintage tins I picked up a couple weeks ago at St. Lawrence. The graphics and colour palette on the cigarette tin are so awesome. I have not idea what I’ll put in this tin, as it is very slim. I couldn’t resist picking up the orange nesting tins from Japan because they are so fetching and in perfect condition. I don’t think they were ever even used!

I’ve written about this mural before. I walk by it twice a day and it makes me happy every time I see it.

Whenever packages arrive, I stop what I’m doing and tear into them immediately. It is one of my favourite things. (that doesn’t involve sugar)
This book is a visual delight, by the way.

Tested out a longer shutter speed (30 seconds) with f-stop 32 for this photo.
Star lights and hand painted ornaments by Kathryn Boyd are year-round decorations. I love the light beams coming out of the stars!
