HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It’s so nice to be tucked inside on snowy winter nights. Right now I’m cozy in bed about to fall asleep into 2009. It’s been an outstanding year. Thank you so much for being a big part of it!

p.s. One of my favourite things to do at the beginning of the new year is to read my horoscope.
{NOTE: I wanted to add in that the lovely owl fairy light was an ebay purchase a few years ago. I have a special love for owls that has the potential to grow into a full grown collection. It holds a little tea light and was made by Fenton. I did a quick search and there always seem to be a few for sale in various colours. This particular colour is called, ‘custard’.}

Happy new year to you too! I hope 2009 is even better for you! I put the television on CityTV for the countdown last night and everyone looked so cold that I was glad I was in my cozy apartment.
I love Astrology Zone! She promised me that I would win the cosmic jackpot this year, and you know, I believe it. Haha.

I love this picture. The combination of elements is most striking to me. The owl is representing the wise reflection of the year that has just passed and the light brings enlightenment from out of the darkness. Combined they say that you are on the edge of discovery and renewal. Very inspiring.
I LOVE to read my horoscope too. Sometimes, when Ms. Miller gives me a horoscope I don’t like I’ll go and read hordes of horoscopes until I find one that I like, and then go with that one. I know, it’s kinda silly but it makes me feel better.
