I made slower progress last weekend on this project, but everything is completely prepped and cut out, ready for assembly. I took my patchwork piece and applied the two layers of interfacing and then quilted it with a few lines in Valdani Variegated Thread that echoed the seams.

PRO TIP! It’s really important to cut your pattern pieces out AFTER quilting, if you plan on doing that for any project. Ask me how I know. The quilting will always shrink and change the dimensions of your final piece.

Bonus! I’ve got enough leftover from my patchwork piece to make a small version of this pouch later on.
