ANTHROPOLOGIE HOLIDAY CATALOG

Anthropologie Holiday Catalog

Once a month, just like a subscription, the Anthropologie catalog arrives in my mailbox. It’s been a couple years since I’ve actually ordered anything from their mail order, but my splurge on Chie Mihara shoes was worth it for the monthly dose of inspiration their paper catalog brings me. Their holiday catalog is extra thick and full of wonderful details and ideas that I’m filing away for future projects. I thought I’d share my favourite bits with you.

  1. Lucky you! I wish I had the catalogue delivered to my door every month!…

I adore Anthro’ styling, so inspiring!

PS. There’s a little challenge for you on my blog, feel free to play along, but only if you wish to! 🙂

  2. OH…MY…GOSH…

What a huge inspiration this is. I have a dozen ideas for new projects and I haven’t even seen the whole catalog. How do I get my hands on this??

  3. Hmmmm … I might buy something from them just to get their catalogues … so inspiring. I was in their new store in Edmonton just after it opened (just coincidence that we were visiting then) and it was really fun to walk through and look at everything even though their music was very loud. I got lots of fun ideas but can’t remember what any of them are now (my mental catalogue is not as reliable as the paper one for storing inspiration).

  4. This catalogue is amazing, thanks for sharing. It’s like all I ever wanted the Sears catalogue to be that it wasn’t!

I LOVE the one of a kind robots, I think I see myself attempting to make my own version of these in the near future, hopefully without having to resort to buying any metal cutting tools or having to call in some soldering help from friends 🙂

  5. oh my goodness! that quilt! that fabric yo-yo type necklace!!! you should set up a class to make necklaces..i know you’ve made some pretty nice ones in the past.
i’ve been itching to come back to the workroom for some classes..it’s been way too freakin’ long!

  6. I love Chie Mihara shoes, and I like looking at the Anthropologie catalog, but I find the store disappointing (went to one in DC). It reminds me of the old days when people were into the J.Peterman catalog – it sold the romance of the item, which I think we all crave nowadays.

  7. I have felt the exact same way about the Anthropologie catalog for a long time. It is so inspiring and I keep the catalog for years for inspiration. Of course, I now look at your blog for the exact same reasons. Thanks for creating something inspiring and beautiful to look at that makes me want to go and make something!
