WIKSTEN TANK COLLECTION

There’s just a week left for my #junefinish goal. I’ve finished up 7 things so far and I’m hoping to add a few more to that list. I’ve been so happy to see other people joining in and finishing up some of their projects too. It feels good!

One of the things I was able to finish was another Wiksten Tank. Once it was done, I decided to gather up all the tanks I had made and count them all. I’ve made nine Wiksten Tanks to date. This is definitely my most used pattern by far!

You can find the Wiksten Tank pattern here!

  1. The wiksten tank is by far my most used pattern too! Once I got the perfect fit on it, it has been so easy to whip one out. And it’s the perfect canvass for any fabric that I love but don’t know what to do with it. Or I love it but its really expensive. I hardly ever wear prints but most of these tanks are, which makes getting dressed really easy- wiksten tank, eBay cashmere cardi, jeans, done!
Did I see you hinted at more wiksten patterns coming soon!? I haven’t hardly seen a peep out of her on her website- is she still working on them?

  2. I agree with Jaime. I see online that some people have changed it a bit by raising the front neckline or adding cap sleeveless. I would like to try the cap sleeves for my next one.

  3. My friend just got into sewing and I suggested this pattern to her as her first. Great job on continuing with you June Finish goal.

  4. They are all beautiful – all 9 of them!! One of the best classes I took at the workroom for sure as Ive made a half dozen of them too!

  5. Ooh what a lovely collection you’ve amassed! I especially love the birch and that Paris print! Wow!
I’m about to make my first Wiksten tank, I have a feeling it will be the first of many!

  6. Great Tanks. Love fabric number 3, do you remember the name or the designer or where you bought it?

  7. I love your Wiksten collection! Question for you – it looks like you’re not using the bias hem on the sleeves and armholes. Any tips on finishing the neck and arms this way? I love that the pattern is continuous! Thanks so much!

  8. I just stumbled onto this site from a websearch. Can anyone tell me where I can purchase this Wiksten pattern?

        1. Hi Barb! The Tova is her other pattern. We are just out of stock on the Tank Pattern right now. We hope to have it back in stock soon!
